This one is going to be great for all you ‘fantasy’ fans, although for me, this is going to be another of those books which takes me some way out of my comfort zone and hoping for a strong storyline to hook me back in. He was grateful that he was alive, he was well, and despite years of hardships he had reached his sixteenth year at the settlement. Weaver often times wondered if Ruben had kept him alive for his own selfish needs – but that mattered not. As much as he hated that man, Weaver knew that without Ruben, he would not have made it out of his childhood alive. The sooner he finished working on Ruben’s waste duties, the sooner he knew he could get a moments rest. “ Yes Sir,” Weaver choked out as he bit the insides of his cheeks to hold back the mounting pain.
